(It occurred to me that I might mention that all photos, on any of my blogs, are NOT "doctored" either at the time of the shot or afterwards --- In other words what you see is what you would get if you were here in person.)
La Scie Harbour has one of the more rare floating docks for recreational vessels --- Most harbours only have wharfs. The yellow rails indicate government provided marine facilities --- which is a blessing!! Here you can see many of the large outboards that are used in the recreational ("food") cod fishery which lasts 3 weeks each time, twice a year:
As we leave La Scie Harbour we pass several rocky headlands:
Aground at Cape St. John, we find what turns out to be the last iceberg that we see in 2013. Keep in mind that most of the berg is underwater.
