We enjoy sharing our lifestyle with our family, friends, and others. So COME ON OUT and "let's get on with it". You only have an opportunity to live once. For those of you who do not choose to get away, feel free to travel vicariously via this blog.

This is primarily a blog of photographs, of our travels. Our blogging time is limited by our activities, so we figure a photograph is worth a thousand words. You may click on the photos to enlarge them.

A Foggy Sunrise On The Avalon Shore - Southeast Newfoundland

Saturday, August 17th, 2013  (Post #1)

At first light we head out of Fermeuse Harbour.  Outside the harbour entrance there appears to be nothing to be seen but pea soup fog.


We pass Port Kirwan on our way out:


Our friends on "Skua" are just ahead of us and the fog does not appear to be as bad as we expected:

 
As we head south along the Avalon Shore, towards Cape Race, the drifting fog makes for a beautiful sunrise:
