When several cruising boats are waiting in harbor for their individual "weather windows" it does not take long to forge new friendships that seem like they have existed a lifetime. Today the skipper of Drina decided it was time to push off for the Azores.
With his mainsail reefed down he is ready to go. "Fair winds our friend - Until next time."
As another cruiser, who was waiting to depart for England, said: "If you stay in one place too long you will grow roots."
What I found interesting is that is exactly what I often tell my patients when I am in the work place.
