L'Anse Au Clair harbor:
A view from above:
L'Anse Au Clair is not a large place. In fact, in the past it was only a seasonal village.
Having left Blanc Sablon, Quebec, the ferry is making her way back to Newfoundland.
This steam empties into the bay, making a very pretty pink sand beach.
This marmot is one of the few animals that we have seen so far during this trip --- other than sea animals and birds.
The sandstone cliffs are slowly wearing away and falling into the sea.
You say: More bergs?
We have never seen a place with so many, and such large dandelions.
