Some bad weather is reportedly on the way so we tucked "Evergreen" into the inside corner of the wharf at L'Anse Au Clair. The lack of other large boats in the harbour was of some concern, however, we have at least one report that the harbor offers good shelter. Note the piece of ice off the stern.
Had to stretch our legs a bit. This is the view of L'Anse Au Clair Bay. One can see the ferry from Newfoundland in the distance.
An interesting old building with wooden shingles. Nearly everyone uses the type of clothes lines with pulleys instead of dryers --- which is rather remarkable considering how few good drying days that they have.
Note how much bigger the hole is in the iceberg on the right. The hole formed only a few hours ago as we passed by.
Snug as a bug in a rug --- we hope.
