Sadly, today we must leave Nova Scotia behind, as the season is advancing. The first light of the day appears in the sky as we head out of Shelburne Harbour:
Shelburne Harbour is a very deep harbor and it takes us about two hours to get out. Near the entrance, the fish boats are already tending the aquaculture site as we pass:
As we turn south along the southwest coast of Nova Scotia we pass the light on McNutt's Island:
Cape Negro Island Light:
The light off of Blanche Island:
The Cape Sable Light (at the southern tip of Nova Scotia):
The sun sets over the Gulf of Maine as the day comes to a close. Next stop: Maine.
